To coordinate all aspects of Adult Education (AE) enrollment including recruitment, application, assessment, registration, data management, and events.Description of Duties and TasksEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinates the organization, preparation, and implementation of enrollment events (application, assessment, and registration), for both major and off-site.
  • Works with Austin Community College (ACC) AE Admissions desks, AE staff and faculty, ACC at large, ACC AE partners, and the community to disseminate accurate information about AE enrollment.
  • Coordinates the training of AE Staff and Faculty, including Admissions staff, to make sure enrollment processes are implemented correctly.
  • Administers pre- and post- assessments (progress testing) required for grant compliance. Assists assessors as needed.
  • Represents ACC AE at ACC and community events to inform external and internal audiences about AE Division including enrollment processes. Works with Advising supervisor to coordinate ACC Liaison Training for AE Division.
  • Establishes and maintains student referral systems with the Workforce Board and other partner organizations including off-site enrollment events as needed. Works with data management coordinator to establish systems and maintain data integrity.
  • Meets with key partnership personnel, provides reports and attendance data, and assists with logistical issues to off-campus sites.
  • Provides assistance to students, instructors, recruiter/advisors, supervisors, and partner agency staff with enrollment management issues.
  • Assist with enrollment and marketing of Workforce Solutions programs and services.

    Coordinates student support for the application including front desk, call center, chat, and adult education email. Coordinates activities that ensure applicants successfully complete their enrollment steps and become ACC AE students.KnowledgeMust possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Working and interacting in a collaborative manner with diverse groups of people.Technology Skills

    Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software. Knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach tools such as Calendly and Marketing Cloud, Virtual Conferencing tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Blackboard Collaborate, Email tools such as Constant Contact, Phone System such as Cisco Jabber, and Google Suite.Required Work Experience

  • Two years related work experience.
  • Preferred Work Experience

    Experience with Workforce Solutions, Texas Workforce Commission, or workforce programs. Technical Help Desk experience.
    Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree.

    Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation for local Austin area travel.Other Preferred Qualifications

    Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.Safety

    This is a grant funded position.ACC Benefits OverviewFull-time Faculty and Staffing Table employees who work in full-time and/or part-time positions at the College are eligible for ACC medical benefits effective the first of the month after their first 60 days of employment. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, short and long term disability, retirement plans and AD&D.

    ACC does not participate in Social Security. ACC participates in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) and the Optional Retirement Program (ORP-Faculty Only). Part-time and Hourly employees participate in the ACC Money Purchase Plan (ACCMPP) as a retirement program required by Federal law.
