Position Summary:
This recruitment is for Temporary Health Professional Education Specialist positions through UCI's internal temporary service.
UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) continuously seeks applicants that are interested and available to work in Health Professional Education Specialist roles on temporary assignments at the UC Irvine campus in Irvine. There is no need to submit more than one application to temporary jobs within the calendar year. Any given application to UCI Temporary Employment Services will make you an applicant to all temporary recruitments.DUTIES/SKILLS INCLUDE:Under the general direction and reporting to the Manager of Clinical and Auxiliary Support Services, the incumbent provides analytical and administrative support to facilitate Clinical Support Service for the Program in Nursing Science.Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse and high-level group of individuals in a diplomatic and professional manner in the community.Work effectively with students, clinical preceptors, site coordinators, and faculty to maintain cooperative working relationships.Demonstrate organizational skills and a strong ability to prioritize multiple demands under competing deadlines.Demonstrate skill using MS Office Suite software, and experience with web-based management tools.Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks to meet competing deadlines.Compensation Range:Starting at $22.00 hr.
Required:
BA/BS in Nursing or Health-related Field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Knowledge of UC policies and procedures
Familiarity with hospital and/or clinical setting
