Job ResponsibilitiesJob responsibilities and duties are subject to fluctuate with little or no prior notice. Assignments may include one or more of the following areas:- Cashiering – Responsibility for collecting and processing patient payments on-siteAccounting Technician – Responsibilities include: adding/updating insurance, collecting balances owed, answering phone (finance line) to address questions and collect payments, submit pre-authorizations to insurance, collect signed Medicaid disclosure forms, process mail, process insurance payments, providing assistance to faculty/students/coordinators regarding patient finances and insurance inquiries/issues, posting payments to patient ledgers, managing various financial reports in axiUmPatient/Faculty/Staff Check-In – Responsibility for asking and recording responses to screening questions, taking temperatures, ensuring compliance with mask wearing and greeting individuals upon entry to the building. Social Distancing Monitoring – Responsibility for ensuring 6-foot distancing and one-way flowing throughout the building. Ensure entrance and exiting through appropriate locations, and monitoring elevator capacity.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: At least two years of cashiering/technical accounting experience that is relevant to the job duties as outlined above. Applicants must have familiarity working with a computer and software programs. Flexibility and ability to adapt to constant change and direction is a must.Core Competencies
