Duties:

Under the general direction of the Dean of Enrollment Services the Director is responsible for the overall planning, evaluation, management and supervision of the Financial Aid Office, including the administration of grants, loans, scholarships, veterans’ benefits, and federal work-study program. The Director is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and strategies that promote student success and lifelong learning as well as providing leadership to ensure quality financial aid service to students.

Education/Experience:

Master’s degree required. Three to five years’ experience administering financial aid programs including electronic processing of aid, preferably in a community college. Experience in preparing federal Title IV and state reports. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience required. Must have a track record demonstrating dedication to the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs and regulations
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
• Ability to handle detailed work under deadlines and multiple tasks concurrently
• Good computational, presentation and organizational skills
• Knowledge of on-line computer systems
• Ability to utilize technologies in the administration of financial aid programs
• Bilingual preferred

Full Time

Hours:

Monday-Friday
8:00 am-5:15 pm
One-two late nights per week 10:00am-7:30pm
Occasional Saturdays

Minimum Starting Rate:

$76,645.00
