Description:

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time Multi-Track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the areas of orbital reconstruction and oculoplastic surgery. There is immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice in an established longstanding department with a brand new, state of the art clinic building. Ample opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research and innovative education models.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The College of Medicine has an active faculty compensation plan, which includes incentives and bonuses. Employer will assist with relocation costs.

Qualifications:

Qualifications, in addition to clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching, resident training, and research as well as participation in academic activities. Experience in orbital reconstruction and pediatric oculoplastic surgery is required. Incumbent will provide medical and surgical services to adult and pediatric patients within UF Health facilities and affiliated locations.

Requirements include completion of an approved residency program as well as postgraduate fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Eligibility for licensure in Florida and the ability to become credentialed as a member of the UF Health medical staff are prerequisites.
