Job Description:

The University of Florida’s Office of Human Resources (UFHR) is looking for a Benefits Specialist II that will support the Benefits Administration function. This position is a subject matter expert on enrollment and vendor files, employee eligibility, and the People Soft Benefits Administration module.


  • Run daily reports to review and analyze enrollment data transferred between UF and the various vendors
  • Troubleshoot and identify enrollment errors
  • Partner with IT to identity specific enrollment issues and work to resolve discrepancies
  • Review and analyze vendor files and invoices to ensure that the appropriate deductions are being withheld
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding enrollment issues
  • Ensures that the Benefit Administration system is set up for the annual open enrollment process and then complete the appropriate system testing
  • Provide support to the Customer Service and Payroll Reconciliation teams regarding enrollment issues

Expected Salary:

$40,000 - $45,000

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of PeopleSoft, People First/Convergys, GatorJobs, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
