Promotes sustainability within dining operations including implementation and maintenance of Somat or similar food pulping procedures. Works with management to ensure continued compliance with green seal initiatives.
Assists daily in trash removal, cleaning, and maintenance of the back of house operation. Assists in the organization, pick up, and cleaning of laundry area. Ensures the dish machine is properly cleaned and maintained throughout the shift. Properly cleans the cooking utensils and equipment. Restocks all washed items in appropriate area. Maintains the cleanliness of dish machines as well as dish areas. Washes, sorts, replaces, and restocks flatware, serving dishes, china, glasses, and all other washable items. Excellent customer service. In addition to “other duties as assigned”, this position may be required to be cross-trained for another position and/or responsibility in order to provide both back-up for a department as well as supplement resources needed during certain times of the year.
High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience.
