The CRM Specialist provides development and support for event management, inquiry and applicant communication, application cycle and CRM portal maintenance, and database administrator duties within Slate for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
This position assists in managing user permissions, data integrity, and error resolution for data pertaining to prospective, applicant, and admitted students; monitors daily data imports and application platform changes; updates rule-based automation; monitors counselor and applicant portals; creates documentation of business practices; assists with account reconciliation; and builds data feeds from third-party vendors (e.g., Coalition application, Common App, College Board, ACT/NRCCUA, Parchment).
They will also represents the university at on- and off-campus recruitment events for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Position requires some evening and weekend work.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Systems or related field; or equivalency.Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with Technolutions Slate or other Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Slate experience is preferred.
•Knowledge of third-party application platforms (e.g. Coalition, Common App).
•Knowledge of admissions operations, cycle, policies, and support activities.
•Familiarity with data structure, data integrations, and data analytical tools.
•Familiarity with HTML, Liquid Markup, or SQL.
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to maintain confidential information.
•Ability to think creatively and analytically.
•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and projects concurrently.
•Ability to work independently and with little direct supervision, but also collaboratively as a member of a team.
•Possess and maintain a customer-friendly and positive attitude, especially while working under pressure.
•Ability to cultivate and manage key relationships.
•Ability to negotiate with and persuade others.
•General knowledge of the college admission process.
•Working knowledge of MS Office.
•Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
