Hofstra University is a dynamic community of more than 11,000 students from around the world who are dedicated to civic engagement, academic excellence and becoming leaders in their communities and their careers.Description:Reporting to the Vice President for University Relations, the Advertising Manager is responsible for monitoring, managing, budgeting, and buying the University's advertising plans. The Advertising Manager will spearhead media plans and ad-buys, for Admissions and Enrollment Management (Undergraduate, Transfer, and Graduate), Continuing Education (Professional Development, Youth Programs, Camp), various departments on campus including Academic Departments, Development and Alumni Relations, Hofstra Cultural Center, charitable and promotional event sponsorships and recruitment advertising.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Maintain the advertising budget.
•Negotiate contracts.
•Review invoices and payment processing.
•Work with the University's creative team and assist in generating content for branding and call-to-action advertising for digital and traditional media, video, and websites.
•Monitor and report on campaign performance, and supervise day to day planning of email marketing, direct mail initiatives and social media.

This is an onsite position; work for this role is performed on campus.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in marketing and advertising and/or a master's degree in communications, marketing, or advertising.
