Position Description:
The Human Resources Technical Project Manager acts as a HR functional expert and liaison between CHR's campus clients and CHR's HRIS function and the campus Information Technology Services (ITS) organization to manage the implementation of several critical HRIS systems including JDXpert, ServiceNow, a Peoplesoft upgrade, and a future applicant tracking system. The position is responsible for identifying client department needs and requirements, negotiating with the selected vendors regarding the implementation of these requirements, and coordinating and collaborating with CHR HRIS and UCLA ITS to ensure an on-time and on-budget implementations that meets the campus needs. Strong candidates will possess Human Resources functional expertise in Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits. In addition to HR functional expertise, HRIS systems knowledge, analytical skills, business knowledge, and change and project management capabilities are required. The Human Resources Technical Project Manager will use a consultative and collaborative model to develop best-in-class HR solutions that meets UCLA's needs. Previous experience with large scale HR system implementations is a must with direct experience project managing full cycle implementations from system selection to go-live."
