Job Id: 624 # of Openings: 1 The History Department at Wheaton College (IL) invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in US history since 1865 beginning in August 2021. A Ph.D. is required. The successful applicant will teach a 3-3 load. Teaching responsibilities include general education courses in American history, a survey of US History from 1865, a class on the History of American Christianity, and upper-division courses in areas of specialization. The department seeks a gifted teacher/scholar who shares the ideals of Christian liberal arts education and who can communicate a love for history to bright, motivated undergraduates.
