Job Summary/Basic Function:The Executive Director of Simulation and Standardized Patients is a full-time contracted position with the School of Nursing. This position is an administrator role as well as a member of the faculty whose job is to ensure SSH criteria are met in the Simulation Center in accordance to INACSL regulations. This role also ensures the LUSON Simulation Center along with the Standardized Patient Program remain in alignment to VBON codes of practice, while supporting the mission and vision of the LUSON and the University.
Minimum Qualifications:Masters prepared, registered nurse with current, unencumbered RN license
Preferred Qualifications:Preference to be doctoral prepared, with dual certification through SSH as a CHSE, and through NLN as a CNE. CPR certified as AHA training site faculty.
Work Hours:40/week
