St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, nestled in the heart of growing St. Charles County. Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.

SCC is seeking a part-time, project-based Quality/Performance Improvement Specialist, to assist business and industry partners with specific Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives. Seeking individuals experienced in facilitating and training (on-site and remote) in an industrial environment as well as providing input related to process improvement and related implementation strategies. Specific activities to include but not be limited to:

    Quality/Lean & 5S/ISO TopicsSafety Standards/OSHA/Federal and Local RegulationsContinuous ImprovementIndustrial/Manufacturing Technical Skills
Additional Qualifications: Formal training certification a plus (i.e. ISO auditing, Six Sigma, OSHA)

Qualifications: 3-5 years of related experience with business and industry. Should possess strong attention to detail and leadership experience. Working knowledge of Quality/Process Improvement Strategies. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others. ISO/Six Sigma certification preferred.
