Description of Work:

One camp educator will lead daily morning and afternoon science in-person sessions for 40 students in grades second – eighth at a local library or community-based centers and/or lead virtual sessions for students in Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Gates, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Orange, Vance, and Wake counties.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in education, special education, instructional design, educational technology, educational media, or related discipline with coursework in curriculum development or learning theory; or a Bachelor’s degree in the assigned discipline and two years of experience in teaching, educational testing, or instructional design and curriculum development; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Must have current and valid teacher certification for NC (science certification not required).
