Provide content for newscasts and assist in producing WUNC’s flagship morning program.
The right candidate will be a confident troubleshooter and self-starter with strong news instincts and audio editing prowess. A successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to sift through information quickly and write clearly and accurately.
Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism or related field preferred. Public radio experience is preferred..
This is a temporary position and expected to last 6-11 months.Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in electronics and three years of progressive experience in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media engineering environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
