Essential Job Duties:

The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has a wonderful opportunity for a graduate or professional student(s) to work on a special review project being led by a Professor of Toxicology and the Dean of the CVM. This position will be assisting in several systematic reviews that look at the pathogenesis and treatment of EHV-1 in horses. This role will work within an online systematic review program extracting data and scrutinizing manuscripts to determine the bias in studies.

This work can be done remotely and will be through the Fall Semester, and possibly the Spring Semester.

This is a temporary/student worker position.

Minimum Experience/Education:

Undergraduate degree or current enrollment in a professional or graduate program.

Demonstrated ability to learn new software programs.
Must be detail-oriented.
Ability to enter data into a database system with accuracy and efficiency and review data for discrepancies.
Ability to use a checklist to critically assess scientific publications for completeness.
Ability to work independently

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:

Prefer excellent computer skills, specifically with Word and Excel.
Prefer excellent organization skills.
