Position Summary:

Under direct supervision, performs procedures in support of ongoing research activities in a laboratory setting. Also responsible for keeping laboratory facilities clean, sanitary, and stocked.

Compensation Range:

Hourly Salary Range: $17.85-$19.19

Required:

Graduation from high school or a General Education Diploma and one year of laboratory experience or two years of college including courses in the natural, physical or social sciences; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. Ability to follow oral and written instructions Understanding of common laboratory terms

Preferred:

Laboratory animal experience Basic microscopy and software Laboratory experience Rodent cell culture techniques

Special Conditions Required:

Desired willingness to work flexible hours with work occasional weekends.
