Position Summary:
The University of California Irvine's Center for Educational Partnerships (CFEP) creates collaborations that support preparation for and success in higher education. Our focus is on equity and access for all students in order to achieve the University of California's goal of academic excellence.
Under direction of higher-level K-14 Academic Preparation Specialist, works with assigned institutions and organizations to implement the California Alliance for Minority Participation (CAMP) in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), targeting incoming California community college transfers and incoming undergraduate freshman. Maintains collaborative relationships with K-14 institutions and/or community entities. Serves as part of a team to assist in the design and implementation of activities and services aimed at underrepresented undergraduate students in STEM.
Compensation Range:
Hourly: $20.02 - $30.51

Required:
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population, and sensitivity to culture, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status.
Knowledge and understanding of student development theory.
Knowledge of higher education institutions (UC, CSU, CC, etc.), admissions and financial aid requirements, and the ability to interpret policies and procedures to undergraduate students.
Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with community college administrators, faculty, and university stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to analyze raw data such as quarterly GPAs and time to degree for CAMP undergraduate student population.
Ability to creates charts and reports after comparing data to national retention averages.
Strong, demonstrated experience in program design, implementation, and extensive evaluation of student data.
Demonstrated ability to read KFS ledgers and update the CAMP budget as well as project projections.
Ability to tracks PALCard purchases, travel reimbursements and disbursement vouchers.
Web development and experience.
Strong demonstration of analytical data management and program analysis skills.
Preferred:
Master's degree.
At least 2 years' experience working for outreach efforts in the University of California system.
