Physical Requirements:

Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time; performing repetitive motion tasks; effectively communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varied professional levels.


Typically Days: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Shift hours can change without notice to cover employees who have not shown up to work for whatever reason. Overtime and Saturdays are expected during certain times of the year such as the start of student semesters and the beginning of the fiscal year; July 1.

Job Summary:

Seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative candidate. This position will serve a very important role as the lead Customer Service Manager in the Customer Service Section of the Transportation Services Department. This position is responsible for parking permit issuance, maintain timely and accurate revenue management and systematic record keeping. Responsible for employee management such as employee schedules, evaluations, and problem solving. This position will provide positive focused customer relations and be able to resolve concerns, conflicts and grievances with students, employees and visitors. Skillful communications with UK departments and third parties is essential. Confidence with software management is crucial.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

All Microsoft Office products and experience with T2 Flex parking permit software is preferred. Applicant will have excellent customer service and teamwork skills, enjoyment/desire to work with employees, students and other customers, great
communication and organization skills, previous supervisory experience. Must have superior grammar/professional email writing abilities.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree in business management or related field with experience in managing the customer service facet of a business such as transportation services, retail, banking, dining, sales, hospitality or comparable industry, both from a customer service perspective and business operation management.
