Job Summary
This is a Graphics Student Assistant position. Only BFA in Graphic Design Majors will be considered. The percentage needed will be 85% graphic design 15% other general office tasks. The person chosen for this position will assist the eCampus Marketing and Graphics department with tasks ranging from the development of new print and digital marketing materials to updating existing materials. This position requires some hands-on work including, but not limited to, the organization of brochures and other print materials, folding t-shirts, unpacking and managing inventory for promotional items, packing and mailing packages.
Ideally, the candidate for this position would work in-house and closely with the in-house graphic designer, however, due to Restrictions of COVID-19, this is an in-office AND/OR remote position. NOTE You will need access to Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud programs to work remotely.

Required Qualifications- Graphic Design 2 or higher
- Knowledge of and Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Must be able to complete needed tasks in a timely manner with limited supervision.
- Must be highly creative yet able to adapt personal design style to that of the eCore or eMajor brands respectively.
Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled for six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average unless otherwise noted/indicated by the hiring department.

Please be aware that we will only be considering graphic design concentration majors for this position. The ideal applicant for this position will be relatively comfortable with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop but will seek to work first in InDesign as 95% of our projects are created and managed in this program.
Student Assistant II positions perform above-average duties of a complex nature requiring prior knowledge, skill, or training. Student Assistant II positions may be physically demanding and the work may be performed under difficult conditions. Students in these positions most often work with little to no supervision. This classification may be used while training for a higher level.
