Job SummaryThe Editor In-Chief supervises the newspaper. Tasks include assigning stories, edition stories, layout of the newspaper, delivering each weekly edit (via email as a PDF) to the printer, and managing paid staff.
The position is ONLY AVAILABLE for students with prior editorial experience.
Must be UWG student with experience in writing & layout, AP style, and newswriting.

Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled for six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average unless otherwise noted/indicated by the hiring department.
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience with The West Georgian on the editorial staff or in the practicum course.
