The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Ophthalmology with a focus on Cornea and Comprehensive Patient Care. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates must be ABO-certified or eligible.

Teaching responsibilities may include attending in resident clinic, and medical student education at the Scheie Eye Institute and its satellite facilities.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing cornea ophthalmology patient care and must be willing to provide comprehensive patient care.

Candidates must have completed 3 years of ophthalmology residency and at least 1 year of fellowship in cornea.
