Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, public relation, or related field and a minimum of two years' professional marketing experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to maintain confidentialityFast learner, team player and self-motivatedKnowledge of graphic design techniques and softwareWorking knowledge of HIPPA and/or higher education policyWorking knowledge of the fundamentals of marketing practicesExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databasesDetail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience in health care or higher education.Responsibilities The Marketing Strategist assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive digital communications and digital marketing plans and promotional efforts for assigned colleges, departments and service lines. He/she accomplishes this by using consulting, communication, project management, and analytic measurement of marketing efforts to meet the needs of internal and external constituents. This position works heavily maintaining the digital presence and reputation of Augusta University AU Health social media platforms. The duties include, but are not limited to:
Manages projects from conception to full execution efficiently and effectively and is able to communicate plans and results to upper level management.Assists with production of materials (printed and electronic). Manages and nurtures vendor relations to achieve timely, cost-effect outcomes.Coordinates planning, development and implementation of assigned digital assets and social media platforms / blogs.Coordinates communications, publications and projects as they relate to assigned colleges, departments, service lines and programsAssist with web site content and development; assists with social media initiatives as assigned in accordance with all brand messaging and approved AP style.Ensure proper usage and implementation of brand standards and acts as a brand manager for enterprise in relation to digital postings and social media.Works collaboratively and appropriately communicates with superiors and staff. Maintains departmental serviceManages projects in assigned area and coordinates all Division of Communications and Marketing work related to incoming project.Oversees creative and strategic deliverables including collaterals and marketing activity reportsServes as client services representative to internal constituents.Assists with planning and implementation of community education and special event initiatives.The direct liaison for implementing marketing objectives, developing new programs and analyzing performance outcomes.Perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned.
Shift/Salary Shift: Days/M-F Pay Grade: 15 Salary: $38,913/Annually
