The Heller School at Brandeis University seeks to hire a Senior Administrator to serve as the human resources liaison. This hands-on Human Resources professional who will be responsible for:

  • Managing all staff hiring in accordance with Heller and Brandeis policies, with the imperative to increase staff diversity;
  • Performing and coordinating comprehensive on-boarding of hires and off-boarding staff who are to leave Heller;
  • Mentoring managers and staff to ensure comprehensive, meaningful performance reviews are consistently performed,
  • In collaboration with Brandeis Human Resources (HR) and Heller management and staff, facilitates career development opportunities and training within Heller and Brandeis.
  • Manages all personnel data in workday.
  • Represents Heller on Brandeis committees relating to HR issues, policies and systems/processes.
  • In coordination with Heller management develops HR policies and trains staff as warranted.

Examples of Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing all staff hiring in accordance with Heller and Brandeis policies; hire faculty, adjuncts, PhD and other stipend recipient students in Workday. Verifying I9s.  Manage level of effort changes with HR and Employee Relations.
  • On board new staff, Off-Board staff
  • Mentoring managers and staff to ensure comprehensive, meaningful performance reviews are consistently performed
  • In collaboration with Brandeis Human Resources (HR) and Heller management and staff, facilitates career development opportunities and training within Heller and Brandeis.
  • Manages all personnel data in workday

Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S. required plus 5-8 years relevant work experience
  • The individual must be a HR professional with experience in hiring, performance reviews, training and mentoring a range of staff positions
  • Experience with Workday a plus
