Position Summary

Creates queries and reports in support of student data needs. Consult and discuss student data needs with campus administrators. Develop and maintain student data reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) & web and desktop applications using tools such as ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, CSS, and GitLab

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Four-year college degree program; one to three years experience in programming, computer systems development, analysis and design; one to three years of experience programming complex SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and web and desktop applications with ASP.Net, VB.Net , C#, , HTML, and CSS; MS Office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Experience querying large, complex data structures specific to student data; Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both verbal and written); Effective troubleshooting skills; Ability to work independently as a self-starter and within a team environment; Strong problem-solving skills; Committed attention to details; Understanding of the vital commitment to ensuring data integrity; Experience working with confidential data; and Capacity to learn new and extensive data structures quickly.
