The Harrington lab seeks an enthusiastic and motivated research technician. The successful candidate will participate in a research program specializing in aggressive lymphoma and leukemia. More specifically, we study the genetic aberrations and molecular pathways that lead to aggressive B-cell lymphoma, performing comparative studies with both canine and human tissues. Additionally, we conduct investigations surrounding the recently described pre-neoplastic condition clonal hematopoiesis, evaluating its presence in the canine and how it contributes to myeloid leukemia, lymphoma, and other medical conditions. Overall, our lab is interested in propagating the use of the canine as a model of human hematologic malignancies.
