Kennesaw State University (KSU) seeks a nationally renowned scholar and thought leader to join its newly established Radow Institute for Social Equity (RISE) located in the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

RISE’s mission is to examine the challenges of social justice, equity, and economic inequality while developing sustainable solutions that address pressing racial and social challenges.

The individual will play a leadership role in enabling KSU to become an international destination for a broad spectrum of active scholars and educators to work together and develop strategies to advance social justice and equity.

The strongest candidates for this position will possess a deep understanding of the racial and social challenges that exist in society and how research can advance the cause for substantive change. Evidence of a strong scholarly record in social justice and social equity studies, combined with a successful history of increasingly responsible academic leadership is required.

A leader in innovative teaching and learning, Kennesaw State University offers more than 150 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees to its more than 41,000 students. With 11 colleges on two metro Atlanta campuses, Kennesaw State is a member of the University System of Georgia and the second largest university in the state.
