The University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine’s Infectious Diseases Division and the Institute of Human Virology’s Division of Clinical Care is seeking full-time clinician educators. Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings to patients with infectious diseases, as well as participating in educational activities directed at fellows, house staff and students. Opportunity for additional involvement within the division’s inpatient infectious disease teaching services and antimicrobial stewardship programs are also available, if interested.Expected faculty rank for these positions are as an entry level Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Qualifications
Applicants must be board-certified in internal medicine; board eligible or board certified in infectious diseases and eligible to obtain an independent Maryland license.
