The Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) is a unit within the Office of the Provost at Georgia Tech. CEISMC serves as the primary connection point between Georgia Tech faculty and students and the preK-12 STEM education community. CEISMC enhances PreK-12 and post-secondary STEM education by drawing upon the expertise and scholarly contributions of the Georgia Tech community. CEISMC advocates for and leads systemic changes to increase STEM interest and achievement for all students, especially those underrepresented in STEM. CEISMC’s research efforts allow for the identification and dissemination of evidence-based best practices in STEM education.

Coordinate administrative and support activities for programs designed to promote the Institute to target audiences of potential students. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit managers and staff, vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA.Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Prepare and assemble educational/promotional materials.
Job Duty 2 -
Make arrangements for meetings, workshops and other events in conjunction with specific outreach programs.
Job Duty 3 -
Coordinate schedules for outreach related events.
Job Duty 4 -
Make travel arrangements for outreach staff.
Job Duty 5 -
Perform administrative support functions for outreach program including preparing correspondence, ordering/maintaining supplies, maintaining databases, etc.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to four years of job related experience
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy.Excellent writing, editing, proof-reading and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to learn quickly in a fast pace environment. Ability to provide logistical support for Student Programs projects and special events.
Specialized skills preferred:Experience working with K-12 students and families.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
This job requires basic skills in delivery of office support administrative services. Use of office related computer applications is required.

You will be interacting with minors and must adhere to all regulatory compliance policies while working with CEISMC, including but not limited to a criminal background check, appropriate pre-screening and training on working with minors.
