(Contingent upon available funding): 12.88 - 14.37, Hourly Work Schedule: Typically 8 hours/day, 5 days/week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: This position will float between the Behavioral Health and Addiction Medicine Clinics.
The Patient Service Rep/Medical Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuringhigh quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medicalcare services, along with high quality customer service and continuation ofcare. This position will also serve as a scribe for the providers. The PatientService Rep/Medical Assistant is utilized in performing typical front andback office clinical functions. The Patient Service Rep/MedicalAssistant is under the overall on-site supervision of the PracticeAdministrator.
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger,grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or withoutreasonable accommodations.

-Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:
-Currently Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
-Current CPR certification
-High school diploma/GED
-Previous front and back office experience in a health clinic setting orequivalent experience required.
Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:
Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. Excellent customer service skills and goodcommunication skills.
