Job Title:
Peer-Led Team Learning Leader
Department:The Learning Center
Job Description/Duties:-Facilitate peer-led collaboration on how to solve difficult problems for General Chemistry I and General Chemistry II (or other courses) emphasizing the development and strengthening of problem-solving skills over simply finding answers
-Meet with faculty each week
-Attend weekly PLTL staff meetings
-Participate in 2 day pre-semester training activities
Days/Hours Needed:Five (5) hours per week
Campus Location/Bldg.:To be announced
Required Qualifications:Successful candidates will have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher AND have earned a B or higher in the course to be a leader
Preferred Qualifications:Preferred applicants will have participated in Peer-Led Team Learning workshops in the past
