Office Manager- Office of Financial Assistance
Buena Vista University has an opening for an Office Manager in the Office of Financial Assistance. The position will be solely responsible for front line service to our client base, which consists of students and their families in Storm Lake, along with a host of non-traditional online undergraduate and graduate students. Responsibilities will also include management of the flow of communication both within and outside of the office, counseling and advising students and families on issues related to federal, state and institutional financial aid policies and regulations, and the coordination of the work performed by the University’s student workers. We are seeking applicants who have a high attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to self-motivate.
An Associate’s Degree is preferred, and 1-2 years of experience in an office setting and experience in higher education is desired.
