Position Scope
Learns how to create and repair carved items using a variety of equipment, tools and materials.
Provides cultural information to guests through demonstrations and lectures based on carved items.
Researches and studies traditional and modern Polynesian carving history, methods, carving surfaces, tools, etc.

Requirements

Must have good manual dexterity and be able to grasp and lift tools and equipment with both hands.
Must be in good health and able to work in a dusty environment.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Should be a high school graduate.
No prior work experience necessary.

19 hours, Mon-Sat 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI
