Posting DetailsPosting Number: 0601255 Position Category: QEP Director Job Title: Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Director Position Code: 00470X Position Type: Staff Department: Institutional Research and Effectiveness Nature of Work: The Director serves as a champion of the QEP, promotes the plan's activities that drive student learning and success and has the primary responsibility of ensuring ASU is in compliance with SACSCOC policies and standards relative to the QEP. The individual in this position will assist the Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness in the oversight of reports, assessments, planning and evaluation and other related administrative activities with and for the assigned program areas. He/she will also assist with the overall operation of the Division of Institutional Effectiveness. Training and Experience: -Master's degree in Higher education leadership, educational research and Evaluation or related field.
-Demonstrated commitment to education and student excellence.
-Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and competence in career development, student engagement, advising, and student success.
-Knowledge of education research methods, quantities and qualitative data analysis, and report writing
-Knowledge of SACSCOC requirements
-Experience coordinating or managing projects or institutional endeavors
-Ability to install software and use effectively
-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
-Ability to handle multiple priorities Testing Requirements:Illustrative Examples of Work: -Chair the QEP Committee.
-A team leader in creating and maintaining an open, collaborative, and inclusive college environment on student learning and student success.
-Provide leadership in the design of new policies and procedures that are necessary to achieve the QEP's goals.
-Work with faculty, administration, and staff to guarantee a successful implementation of the QEP as per SACSCOC standards.
-Ensures that faculty, chairperson, Dean and student support services provide the feedback needed to develop the framework of QEP.
-Provides leadership in the design and implement of new policies, procedures, pedagogies, curricula facilities, and training necessary to achieve the QEP goals.
-Develops and leads the activities of the QEP committee and its subcommittees.
-Acts as a liaison and coordinator with external stakeholders to obtain input into the QEP development and implementation.
-Prepare a detailed analysis of QEP development, as well as status and performance through set of benchmarks to measure the progress towards achieving QEP goals.
-Monitor SACSCOC requirements to ensure compliance.
-Collaborates with the Office of Marketing & Communication to create a communication plan and awareness campaign of the QEP.
-Manages the QEP budget in compliance with ASU and USG policies.
-Provides status reports and updates to the university stakeholders.
-Coordinates efforts with other academic units and support services.
