This position isresponsible to the Dean for Health Professions and Public Service. The HPPS Coordinator will provide directsupport to the Dean in supporting the WCC American Heart Association (AHA)Training Center and assist in supporting other community and student-centeredprocesses related to student applications, enrollment, and retention.

Coordinate all processes related to instructor and training site AHA related paperwork, e-mails, and correspondence. Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the Regional AHA coordinator and the affiliated instructors/agencies.

Order supplies/materials to meet needs of courses and instructors in network. Act as primary organizer and logistical support for courses offered both on and off campus. Work with internal and external partners to meet training needs.

Create and enter non-credit schedules for AHA related courses. Coordinate instructor scheduling and notifications of changes to schedules.

Is a resource and/or point of contact for other college departments for multiple projects/processes to include marketing courses, creating accounts in Waubonsee Tickets, and facilitating student registration and refunds.

Create reports and provide analysis of data related to revenue, costs, anticipated budget needs, and enrollment trends.

Input time entry for non-credit instructors and process invoices for contracted instructors or training sites.

Process instructor/affiliate agency annual contracts/renewals and update instructors on procedural changes. Coordinate with Corporate Sales office to facilitate CPR courses for local business/industry agencies.

Assist Dean in monitoring/tracking students’ clinical requirements through the online tracking platform as needed. Coordinate with program faculty and students as needed.

Assist Dean in processing student applications for both credit and non-credit courses/programs as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Two years related administrative experience preferred.

Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Current/previous AHA CPR instructor preferred.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Good public relations, oral and written communication skills.
