Description of Work:

The OASIS-CCH program serves adolescents and young adults recovering from psychotic disorders. We are seeking individuals with lived experience of a psychotic disorder to serve as Peer Support Specialists for OASIS-CCH clients. The Peer Support Specialist will help OASIS clients improve their social and work lives through the organization and facilitation of social activities and volunteer activities. The Peer Support Specialist will also work individually with clients to improve social and work life. The Peer Support Specialist will work under the direction of an OASIS clinician.

Education and Experience:

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Certification as a NC Peer Support Specialist will be required but this certification can be obtained while on the job.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Lived experience with a psychotic disorder.
