The Carolina Survey Research Laboratory will be conducting research surveys on a variety of topics, including quality of life of cancer patients.
Selected candidates will be conducting telephone interviews about these topics, entering their responses into survey software.
All work for this position is performed at home through a computer linked to the Carolina Survey Research Laboratory located at 730 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in a job with comparable duties. Preferred qualities include:
•Fluent in Spanish and English
•Previous call center or telephone experience
•Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
•Experience collecting data
•Extreme accuracy and attention to detail
•A basic level of computer literacy
The Carolina Survey Research Laboratory requires all new employees to attend training. Training classes are typically held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Candidates applying for this position must be able to attend training on a Saturday.
