The Undergraduate Hub Coordinator supports multiple programs and resources that directly impact the student experience at UNC Hussman. The position provides administrative support to and works closely with other members of the Undergraduate Hub team to ensure that academic advising, student engagement, career services, global and immersive programs serve current and prospective students at the highest level.
The position will:
•Provide administrative support for the recruitment, onboarding, admissions, and registration process.
•Serve as the main point of contact for undergraduate students, providing general information and visitor assistance in the Undergraduate Hub.
•Communicate about events, deadlines, program descriptions and opportunities, awards, admissions processes, and commencement details with undergraduate student body.
•Assist the Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies with the scheduling of classes and event-planning, including commencement planning and organization.
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
The successful candidate must possess initiative, a high level of attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, a willingness to help others, the ability to work independently and the flexibility to perform in an ever-evolving academic setting. The candidate must also have the organization skills necessary to best prioritize multiple projects by specified deadlines. A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. This team member must also be able to work overtime and/or weekends/evening on rare occasions.Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Zoom is preferred. Event planning experience is a plus. Customer service experience is a plus.Position/Schedule Requirements:
