The School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking faculty members to apply for a full time tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The School is recruiting creative and highly motivated candidates who want to advance their academic careers and support the research, teaching, and service mission of the UNCG School of Nursing. We are seeking innovative and talented individuals actively engaged in research and education to become part of our dynamic team. Research priorities are for faculty with a focus on vulnerable populations in the areas of chronic disease prevention and management (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity), health services, and interventions and symptom management.
Tenure track positions are research intensive. Tenure track faculty are expected to develop a focused program of research, seek external funding, disseminate research findings, and teach. All positions will have responsibilities in research, teaching, and service missions. Candidates with experience in these areas are preferred.
This is a 9-month academic year position with full benefits.
