Position Description:
Under the direction of the Manager of Design and User Experience, the incumbent will provide web design, publishing, and site maintenance services for Student Affairs and the Chancellor's Office. Collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and improve overall design of current sites, execute all UX/UI design to conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and streamline the User Experience (UX) while supporting complex design requirements. To create wireframes, storyboards, work flows, navigation/process flows and site maps to effectively communicate the User Interface (UI) design and work flow. The incumbent will be responsible for defining/improving the usability of various websites, prototyping designs and interfaces, building templates and layouts and producing interactive design elements. Manage organization-wide CMS systems such as DNN and Drupal.
Track and compile website statistics using established software tools. Research and analyze complex/ unique web related technical problems and make recommendations for enhancing the overall web, mobile and social presence of Student Affairs' departments through new initiatives. Solve HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and XML related problems. Ability to work independently yet thrives in a team environment. Independently set work priorities and timelines to reach established goals and objectives.
