Job Summary:

Temporary, part-time instructor for DMACC Cybersecurity Career Academy. Position will teach various Cybersecurity college courses for area high school students enrolled in the academy.

NET 166 Applied Computer Security (Security+)

NET 168 Administering Windows Server

NET 202 Programming for Net Admins with Python3

NET 402 Linux Network Administration

Essential Functions:

Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or diploma in Electronics, Computer Engineering Technology, or related

4 years non-teaching related work experience in Information/Computer Technology

NET 166: TestOut Security Pro or CompTIA Security+ certification

NET 168 – TestOut – Installation and Storage Server 2016

NET 402 – CompTIA Linux+, TestOut Linux Pro, or LPI Certification LPIC-102
