Conduct research on topics of: electric machines, drives, and power electronics, including applications for efficient energy use and electrification of transportation in the College of Engineering, ECE Department, SPARK Laboratory, under the direct supervision of sponsoring faculty: Dr. Dan M. Ionel, FIEEE, EE Professor and L. Stanley Pigman Chair in Power. Work on federally and industry funded projects. Mentor PhD students and collaborate with faculty and with external researchers from academia and industry. Write reports, technical papers, and present at project meetings and professional conferences. Other research tasks and duties as directed by the sponsoring faculty.At the time of application please submit required CV and Cover Letter.
