Job description
Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia is seeking outstanding candidates for Primary Care Positions. Qualified candidates will provide comprehensive care to adult patients—from routine medical checkups to treatment of a wide variety of health issues as well as involvement in teaching both medical students and residents. Minimum Requirements
Qualified candidates should possess a MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, successfully completed an Internal Medicine residency training program, and be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
Conditions of Employment
All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review. For specific positions, the final candidate may be subject to a (pre-employment) physical, drug screen, and/or credit check.
The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree in the form of an original transcript. Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
