Position Summary:

UGA Peanut Entomology is a research and extension program. Within the department of Entomology, our research goal is to develop effective insect management strategies that are economically and environmentally sustainable for peanut products of Georgia. Current tasks include collecting and processing samples, entering data, maintaining a safe and clean lab, and helping prepare and implement research trials.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Able to use Excel in order to enter data

Physical Demands:

Sit and use a microscope for extended periods of time. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Being outside during the summer months, and they should be punctual. Driving.
