Summary

The Program Coordinator for New Student & Leadership Programs will perform a variety of duties to facilitate the growth and development of students from orientation through graduation. This is a generalist position and the Program Coordinator will assist with program development and implementation, student staff selection and training, marketing and communications, and budgetary support. The Program Coordinator will support efforts across the University aimed at enhancing the first-year experience and the growth and development of leadership opportunities for students. Some evening and weekend commitments are required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

OR

  • High School diploma/Equivalent and 4 years of directly related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in student personnel, college student development, higher education administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience with college/university orientation and transition programs for traditional-aged first-year students
  • Experience with college/university leadership development programs for traditional-aged students
  • Previous experience in management/supervision of student workers
  • Prior experience with program and event planning
