Position Information: Description

This position is located at the EERC, an international leader in energy and environmental research, conducting projects for clients throughout the United States and the world. We are looking for experienced, confident, scientifically trained, and market-oriented individuals to contribute to the success of the organization by performing one or more of the following functions:

  • Design, create, test, troubleshoot, and maintain new and existing software applications (desktop, Web-based, and mobile), many of which are database driven.
  • Translate client requirements and formulate detailed specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Create and maintain product documentation; independently research and resolve complex technical programming problems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Remote working is an option for this position.
  • May require travel

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field to be completed by the end of the Spring 2021 semester. A lesser degree with equivalent solid programming experience may be substituted.
  • Programming experience in developing web, desktop or mobile.
  • Successful completion of criminal history records check.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with .Net technology (VB/C#).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Git, AJAX, ASP, Angular or PHP a plus.
  • Experience in development using Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and creating database tables, functions, and stored procedures. (MS SQL Server preferred).
Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification

$50,000 Annual/Full-Time, Benefited, Exempt

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with flexibility to accommodate work activities/work life balance. Travel may be required.

Benefits
