Job Description:

York College of PA is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach the upper-division News Writing and Production course for the Fall 2021 Semester.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or Digital Video Production, Masters degree preferred, and at least two years of commercial news experience.

The successful candidate must also have experience in producing commercial TV newscasts, knowledge, skill and ability in all aspects of Associated Press' ENPS software, and an understanding of newscast blocking, writing of all types of story scripts, editing video from CNN Newsource, timing of a live broadcast and teleprompting studio cameras.

Candidates should also be proficient in operating audio consoles, control room switchers, editing systems and digital video playback systems as well as Adobe Premiere Editing software.
