The Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a part-time (minimum of 0.75 FTE) or full-time Pediatric Dermatologist at the rank of Assistant Professor.  This provider will see patients in our robust clinical practice at Children’s Hospital Colorado and its Broomfield Network of Care site.


Duties in this faculty position will include patient care, teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities.

In addition, specific responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Patient care at Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Network of Care site in Broomfield, CO. A minority of patient care will occur at Anschutz Medical Campus.
  • This position is ~80% clinical and 20% teaching/scholarship.
  • Teaching responsibilities include the supervision of dermatology and pediatric residents and fellows in clinic, mentorship, and educating medical students, residents and fellows through didactic lectures and participation in journal club and grand rounds.
  • Physician will be expected to develop an academic focus or area of expertise relevant to Pediatric Dermatology.and be involved in scholary activities. 
Salary and Be nefits:

The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at $187,500.

The above salary rate represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at the time of posting.

Minimum qualifications:  MD degree, Board Certification in Dermatology, Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Dermatology, and eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Colorado.
