Department Summary:

The University of North Texas High School Career Connect is seeking
candidates for the position of Administrative Coordinator. High School Career Connect is a grant funded program that
provides career guidance to middle school and high school students in the
Denton County area.
This employee will perform independently within established
goals, may be expected to create his/her own goals, as well as work under
the supervision of the Director and staff of HSCC.

Position Summary:

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: opening and preparing the office, calendar management for staff, assisting all staff as needed, greeting customers in a friendly and cooperative manner, preparing and maintaining accurate records for grant reporting purposes, maintaining confidential records as it pertains to hiring practices, maintaining excellent working relationships, completing documents for staff in a timely manner, and maintaining the budget, purchasing accounts, and records for various purposes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of highly responsible and varied office or business administration experience. or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will possess a bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of related experience, and the following additional skills: knowledge of accounting and budgeting procedures, knowledge of ePar, travel, and inventory procedures at UNT, ability to keep records in multiple accounts and organize data into a specific format, ability to work on complex and confidential tasks, and, excellent communication skills.
