Administrative Compliance Coordinator IIOffice of General Counsel

Location: New Orleans, LA


The Administrative Compliance Coordinator II provides professional legal and administrative support to the Office of Compliance and Privacy and the Office of Global Affairs and Regulatory Compliance. This position  will assist with university compliance administration; conflict of interest administration; HIPAA security matters and HIPPA/HITECH  new employees and annual refresher training; Deficit Reduction Act (DRA) compliance; quarterly due diligence review of employees who may potentially have sanctions and  be excluded from receiving federal grants and contracts; quarterly due diligence review of employees who may potentially be excluded from receiving Federal grants and contracts; operational and administrative support of sponsored, unsponsored and academic international activities including support of the International Research Group, International Academic Group, International Travel Group, etc.; and overall administrative support to the Director of Compliance/ University Privacy Officer and the Global Affairs and Regulatory Compliance Administrator.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of five (5)  years administrative and technology support experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Imanage (document management software), Concur (accounting software), SciQuest eProcurement (accounting software), Bridge Training System (employee training portal); IRB Manager (IRB submission documents);
  • Knowledge of website design; 
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH law, Federal False Claims act;
  • Knowledge of professional billing compliance regulations and guidelines; and
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
